Alright, so I finally got around to making an LJ account after procrastinating for literally years. The main reason I joined the LJ community is because of 5x13 fanfics buuuuuut........I'd love to branch out.

As a new user I feel like a complete idiot because I have NO idea how to customize the appearance of my lj! Last night I searched my computer for a scan of an old fanart I made ages ago and managed to make an icon after some random fumbling with the paint shop pro program. Today, I'd like to make my LJ look at least PRESENTABLE because the way I see it, if you're going to do something, do it right. I currently have a basic account because I hate the idea of ads but with a basic account, I've pretty much blocked myself from all functions. Does that mean there is no way for me to post fanart? (I think the answer is yes) Does that mean there is no way for me to customize the look and background of my LJ? (I don't have a definitive answer for that yet. Maybe someone can tell me.)

So why oh why would I waste precious living time to write a completly pointless journal entry? Because I'm testing my LJ. I want to see how an entry would show up and how it would look like. That's pretty much it! And when I get the hang of it, I'll be able to post my fanfictions (YAY!) and they are mostly ShikamaruxIno from Naruto but I'm branching out. Finally, I have a place to post my dark and explicit fanfictions without the annoying kids on Fanfiction.net screaming bloody murder! Then again, what's to stop them from complaining about mental trauma should they mosey on over and read the stories here? Honestly people, I post warning after warning and if you STILL insist on reading it, you can't blame me! I can't be expected to write bland, predictable, PG stories forever! Let me spread my wings!~ (*COUGH* that was a stupid line...now how do I cross it out..)

Anyways,in no particular order, I love 5x13 (gundam wing), 5x1 (GW), 5x2 (See a pattern here?), ShikamaruxIno (Naruto), KibaxHinata (Naruto), IchigoxRukia (Bleach), HeijixKazuha (Detective Conan), AlucardxIntegra (Hellsing) and many more. I also have a penchant for dark angsty stories so yea........mmmm...angst.....It's good when its not your own.

*SIGH* I suppose I have to find another place to post fanarts. Unless I actually decide to pay for an LJ account (I hate paying for ANYTHING and I don't know if I'm really a blogging sort of person.....although I DO have an opinion on everything and everything).

*SIGH* I suppose later tonight I have to poke around at this some more and figure out all the functions.
